Based in Coachella, California, SEA CON Giannini manufactures a full line of underwater switches; hermetically sealed limit switches, proximity switches, potentiometers and magnetic couplings. In addition to this SEA CON Giannini are also able to offer a range of plastic switches and has recently developed a proximity switch utilizing SEA CON® s connector technology.

The original founder of the Company was Dr. Gabriel Giannini, a physicist by training but his real passion was for sailing and the ocean. It was his own need for hermetically sealed switches and other equipment that drove him to develop many of the products that are in production today. Dr. Giannini passed away in 1989; however, the business has continued to flourish.

On February 1, 2001 SEA CON Brantner & Associates purchased the Company’s assets. As a leader in the electrical and fiber optic connector industry for over 30 years, the marriage of these companies offered outstanding potential.

In March of 2003 SEA CON Giannini moved to its new and modern corporate headquarters located in Coachella, California, a neighboring community o Palm Springs. The Company continues to manufacture the same, hermetically sealed, switches, potentiometers and magnetic couplings and to develop new and innovative products to meet the Customer’s growing demands.
