SEA CON Giannini, a California Corporation since 1965, is a manufacturer of various submersible products;
underwater switches, encoders, roll sensors, magnetic coupling rings and our standard "AU", "BU" and "CU" Series submersible switches. Our "AU" Series is rated from 6000 PSI to 10,000 PSI. (12,000’ to 20,000’). Our "BU" and "CU" Series switches are rated from 1750 to 2500 PSI. We are "THE DEEPSWITCH".
We use the highest quality of materials: 316 stainless steel (passivated). Honeywell Micro Switches, Rare Earth Samarium Cobalt magnets (18,000,000 energy). All of our switches meet MILITARY/NAVSEA REQUIREMENTS!
Our switches are designed for a single circuit, double circuit, as well as ROTARY. Operations of our switches consist of: Pushbutton and Limit Switch (Momentary); Push-Pull (Fail-Safe/Kill Switch) ON-OFF; Rotary - ON-OFF Bi-directional, 360°; Proximity in passive or Hall effect types. Hall effect can be latching, current sourcing or seeking. Our limit switch and proximity switches are available in 316 sst/titanium.
We have recently completed the design, development and successful testing of a new plastic switch for shallow water applications, our BPU-PB-SD-C, rated at 250 psi/500 feet.
Our switches are qualified for successful employment on: Submarines, ROV’s, AUV’s, UUV’s, hulls, submersibles of all types, buoys, underwater communication systems and surveillance devices; Oceanographic equipment, on deck and wherever equipment is exposed to severe marine and other hostile environments. These switches are used in oil well logging, well head controls, dredging, fishery gates, and underwater Christmas Trees. SEA CON Giannini Switches are USED ALL OVER THE WORLD.
